Robert Workshop offers different classes within many disciplines.
Most classes are done privately unless otherwise noted.
Students are welcome to bring their own laptops.
Classes are taught on the MAC platform.
Photo Level 1 -
Class Duration: 2hr Rate: $150
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of digital photography. Students learn the basics of camera operations and an introduction to digital software ( Photoshop, Digital Photo Professional, etc.) Students are encouraged to email the instructor before class to receive a list of free digital software to download for the class. Topics covered in class are: Composition, 3-point lighting, Exposure, Shutter speed, ISO, F-Stop etc.
Camera Breakdown -
Class Duration: 2hr Rate: $130
Ever wondered what those features on your DSLR camera mean? This class breaks down the many functions and features of a DSLR camera. This class is conducted in 2 parts. The first part is an explanation of functions on the camera. The 2nd part of the class is in the field [outside], because the best way to learn is to practice.
Mobile Photography -
Class Duration: 2hrs Rate: $100
The rapid pace of technology has filled cellphone cameras with features you could once only find on bulky, expensive professional cameras. Unfortunately, the lingo of these features is still difficult to understand. In this class, I will help you get the most out of your cellphone camera’s many features, bringing your photos to the next level.
Be a Better Youtuber
Class Duration: 2hrs Rate: $200
Learn how to shoot, edit and produce a final product ready for Youtube. Whether you prefer using a cellphone or camera, we teach you how to get the most out of each device. Students are provided with a list of equipment suggestions regardless of preference.
Create your own Holiday Ornament
Class Duration: ~2 hrs Rate : $40 A Student
Have you ever, hand-crafted something new and creative. In this class I will teach you how to create a truly original hand crafted ornament of your own design. With the design of your choosing from 12 different templates, you can customize the ornament to your your liking. Some skills that will be learned in this class are transfer techniques, painting and color mixing.
